Kirk's career in stunts began as an extreme sports athlete.  But his dedication to Martial Arts and fight choreography propelled him to the top 1% of all stunt performers in North America. That was him playing Nightcrawler in the legendary opening scene of Xmen-2 -- the scene that lit the franchise on fire.
